ABOUT US

TORONTO CELEBRATES SUDBURY was born from the idea to bring together both current and former Sudburians to raise funds for local charitable organizations in a fun and social way. The first event was held in 2011 in Toronto’s Distillery District with 250 people in attendance for an evening in support of Laurentian University with their Next 50 Campaign. Since its inception, the event has successfully generated over $200,000 for charitable organizations and key initiatives that are vital to the City of Greater Sudbury and its community. These organizations and initiatives include the aforementioned Laurentian University, Next 50 Campaign; Foundations at Health Sciences North (HSN), Simulation Lab; and the Sudbury Community Foundation.

Stay tuned for the 2024 event announcement! Toronto Celebrates Sudbury helps to raise funds for the Foundations at HSN – HSN Foundation, NEO Kids Foundation and Northern Cancer Foundation.
